HOW COMPASSION CAN SAVE YOUR STRAINED RELATIONSHIPS?

When a relationship ceases and an individual decides to walk out of it, the possibility of reversing that decision is quite minimal. It is often said how trust is the foundation of a relationship, but is trust enough for any relationship to last if there is no compassion for each other?

Only if people try to fit in each other’s shoes, any relationship could be saved, be it between a child and parent, between friends or between couples. We are petrified of differences and that’s probably why we fail to plant seeds of change, seeds of influence, and seeds of diversity. Nearly 50% of marriages end in divorce and no one talks about the change one should make. Success is not guaranteed, but what if it really makes a difference? It’s worth it! It’s totally worth it to create a ‘compassion culture’ instead of ‘council culture’ and agree to suffer alongside the ones we actually love but “know who is worth suffering for.” It’s not the result but the effort and compassion that matters the most.
